My practice explores abstraction through a visual language informed by Islamic artistic traditions. Rather than referencing ornamentation directly, I engage with underlying principles — rhythm, geometry, repetition, and spatial balance — as structural foundations for contemporary composition.
Working primarily in drawing, painting, and mixed media, I approach each work as a process of construction and reflection. Color functions as both emotional resonance and architectural element, shaping movement within the composition.
My work exists within a dialogue between discipline and intuition. Academic training provides structure, while abstraction allows space for interpretation and layered meaning. Through this balance, I seek to create visual environments that invite contemplation rather than narrative resolution.
